On 08 May 2026, in Helsinki, Republic of Finland, Her Excellency TUOT Panha, Ambassador of the Kingdom of Cambodia to the Republic of Finland, residing in London, accompanied by Miss OUK Daracheata, First Secretary, held a working meeting with His Excellency Jari Sinkari, Director General of the Department for Asia and Oceania, at the Ministry for Foreign Affairs of Finland.
During the meeting, both sides expressed satisfaction with the progress of relations and cooperation between Cambodia and Finland and discussed further strengthening and expanding cooperation in the areas of trade and investment, tourism, and people-to-people exchanges, among others.
Following the working meeting, Her Excellency the Ambassador also attended a networking event organized by the Ministry for Foreign Affairs of Finland, with the participation of Ambassadors/Heads of Mission accredited to Finland, as well as senior officials of the Finnish Ministry for Foreign Affairs. The event provided an excellent opportunity to strengthen diplomatic relations and gain further understanding of Finland’s political, security, and economic positions.
