On the afternoon of 15 January 2026, Her Excellency Tuot Panha, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Kingdom of Cambodia to the United Kingdom, accompanied by Mr. Hang Sochivin, Commercial Attaché, and Ms. Heng Chhun Leang, First Secretary, received Mr. Ian Gibbons OBE, Chief Executive Officer of the UK–ASEAN Business Council (UKABC), together with his colleague, at the Embassy of the Kingdom of Cambodia in London.
During the meeting, the two sides exchanged views on strengthening economic, trade, and investment cooperation between Cambodia and the United Kingdom, with particular focus on enhancing cooperation between the UK–ASEAN Business Council (UKABC) and the ASEAN London Committee (ALC), at a time when the Cambodian Embassy is assuming the role of Rotating Chair of the ALC for the first half of 2026.
Both sides expressed their satisfaction with the steady progress of bilateral relations and cooperation between Cambodia and the United Kingdom, especially in the areas of politics, economy, trade, investment, tourism, and education, among others.
