On 12 May 2026, Her Excellency Tuot Panha, Ambassador of the Kingdom of Cambodia to the United Kingdom and Chair of the ASEAN London Committee (ALC), and The Rt Hon the Lord Vaizey, Chair of the UK-ASEAN Business Council (UKABC), co-chaired a meeting between the ALC and UKABC, held at the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) in London.
The meeting exchanged views on cooperation between the ALC and UKABC in further advancing awareness of ASEAN in the United Kingdom, as well as enhancing understanding of the United Kingdom within ASEAN Member States. This was pursued through strengthened engagement with the UK business community, support for official visits, and improved coordination of related programmes and activities.
Both sides reaffirmed their shared commitment to further strengthening the partnership and advancing practical cooperation, contributing to the continued deepening of ASEAN–United Kingdom Dialogue Relations.
