On 8 June 2026, Mr. Hang Sochivin, Trade Attaché, and Ms. Heng Chhun Leang, First Secretary of the Royal Embassy of Cambodia to the United Kingdom, attended the Asia Summit Seminar at the headquarters of Irwin Mitchell in London.
The seminar brought together representatives from the UK Department for Business and Trade, the Ministry of Justice, diplomatic missions, relevant institutions from across Asia, and British companies. Participants discussed and exchanged views on recent developments in artificial intelligence (AI) and the experiences of several Asian economies, including Indonesia, Malaysia, the Phpines, Thailand, Vietnam, Hong Kong, and South Korea, with regard to infrastructure development, human resource capacity, legal and regulatory frameworks, AI applications, and the challenges associated with the adoption of artificial intelligence in the United Kingdom and across Asia.
