On 7 November 2023, Ambassador Lay Samkol and his spouse attended the World Travel Market London (WTM). During the event, Ambassador Samkol met with Mr. Alistair McEwan, Senior Vice President of BBC Australia; Mr. Jonh Williams, Vice President of BBC Singapore; and Mr. Nick Ray, Lonely Planet Cambodia. They discussed ways and means to support and promote Cambodia as a destination for tourism and investment on the BBC. They also discussed possibilities of having Cambodia’s stand at WTM 2024 to show case our famous tourist destinations and promote related investment opportunities.
