On 21 November 2023, Ambassador Lay Samkol attended an informal lunch hosted by HE René Dinesen, Ambassador of Denmark to the UK. Several other ambassadors accredited to Denmark were also invited. They discussed issues of common interests, including the 33rd Session of the International Maritime Organisation (IMO) Assembly that will take place from 27 November to 6 December 2023 in London, during which delegates of 175 Member States will meet, debate and elect its council members.
