On 16 November 2023, Ambassador Lay Samkol received a courtesy call by His Excellency Ng Teck Hean, a newly appointed High Commissioner of the Republic of Singapore to the United Kingdom. Both sides noted with deep satisfaction of the long-standing frendly relations of the two countries and the growing cooperation over the years on many areas, ranging from trade, education, finance and banking, industry and agriculture to connectivity and tourism. Both sides are also committed to working closely together, both in bilateral and multilateral framework, for the common interests of the two countries and people.
