On December 8, 2025, Her Excellency Tuot Panha, Ambassador of the Kingdom of Cambodia to the United Kingdom and Northern Ireland, accompanied by Mr. Hang Sochivin, Trade Attaché, met with Mr. Andrew J. Booth, OBE, Honorary Consul of the United Kingdom in Siem Reap, Cambodia, and Ms. Malen Chea, Co-Founder and International Marketing Advisor of Pov Sambath Co., Ltd. The meeting focused on collaboration, coordination, and support for Cambodian entrepreneurs seeking to bring agricultural products—especially cashew nuts and Khmer food—to the United Kingdom market in the future.
The Ambassador encouraged Ms. Chea’s company and other Cambodian businesses to continue their efforts in processing, producing, and expanding access to markets in the United Kingdom. The Embassy expressed its readiness to cooperate and coordinate trade mission programs to help expand market opportunities and raise Cambodia’s profile in the United Kingdom.
