On Sunday, 27 July 2025, Cambodian citizens residing in the United Kingdom peacefully gathered at Trafalgar Square and proceeded to the area near Big Ben to express their support, solidarity, and encouragement for the Cambodian frontline armed forces who are bravely defending the nation’s sovereignty and territorial integrity.
The gathering called upon the British public and the international community to recognize the Cambodian people’s genuine desire for peace, emphasizing that Cambodia has no justification to initiate any armed conflict or war. Participants further urged Thailand to immediately cease its aggression, halt the destruction of Preah Vihear Temple — a UNESCO World Heritage, and commit to a peaceful resolution in accordance with international law.
Sincere thanks and appreciation to Cambodian community living in the UK for their deep patriotism, solidarity and peaceloving desire.
