On January 8 2024, at the House of Commons, H.E. Ambassador Lay Samkol, paid a farewell call on Mrs. Heather Wheeler, the UK Prime Minister’s Trade Envoy to Cambodia and Laos. Ms. Heather Wheeler underlined the dynamic progress and many recent significant achievements made by the Royal Government of the 7th Legislature under the visionary leadership of Samdech Moha Borvor Thipadei Hun Manet, the Prime Minister of Cambodia, and extended her best wishes for success to Ambassador Samkol in his new position. In biding a farewell, Ambassador Lay Samkol wished Ms. Heather Wheeler all the very best for 2024 and looked forward to welcoming her in Cambodia next month.
