On 16 October 2026, Mr. CHHUON Naroeun, Counsellor, accompanied by Ms. OUK Daracheata, First Secretary, participated in a courtesy call and working discussion between the ASEAN London Committee (ALC) and Lord Leong CBE, Minister for Small Business and Enterprise at the Department for Business, Innovation, Science and Trade (DBIST) in London.
Both sides discussed the proposed ASEAN Roadshow aimed at strengthening economic ties, promoting SME collaboration, and connecting ASEAN businesses with regional opportunities across the United Kingdom.
The meeting also highlighted opportunities for practical business-to-business partnerships in key sectors, including advanced manufacturing, engineering, vocational education and skills development. Both sides welcomed further collaboration to promote trade, investment, and stronger connections between ASEAN and UK regional businesses.
