On 9 June 2025, Mr. Hang Sochivin, Trade Attaché, and Ms. Heng Chhun Leang, First Secretary of the Royal Embassy of Cambodia, attended the Asia Get Together event during London Tech Week 2025 at Irwin Mitchell. There, they engaged with companies from the United Kingdom to explore potential areas for technological cooperation in Cambodia.
The Embassy was also pleased to see Cambodian student Ms. Duch Sam Viriya, who is pursuing a Master’s Degree in AI at Queen Mary University of London, participate as a speaker at the UK-Asia Panel on AI Safety, Regulations, and Policy.
Organized by the UK Asia Grant Foundation, the event brought together business leaders, government representatives, and key stakeholders from Asia and the UK to discuss the future of AI in Asia, with a focus on safety, regulation, and opportunities for collaboration.
