On 10 July 2025, Mr. Hang Sochivin, Trade Attaché, attended the Trade & Development Summer Reception, co-organized by the Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office and the Department for Business and Trade. The event gathered approximately 80 participants, including diplomats, trade representatives from various embassies in the United Kingdom, and business leaders from numerous British companies.
On this occasion, H.E. Mr. Douglas Alexander, Minister for Trade Policy and Economic Security at the Department for Business and Trade, and H.E. Baroness Chapman, Minister for International Development, Latin America and the Caribbean at the Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office, delivered keynote addresses. They spoke on the new trade strategy, the progress of the Developing Countries Trading Scheme (DCTS), and the Economic Partnership Agreements (EPAs).
In addition, the Trade Attaché met with many participants and provided briefings on Cambodia’s economic stability, and its potential for trade, investment, and tourism.
