On 26 January 2026, the Royal Embassy of Cambodia in London officially assumed the Chairmanship of the ASEAN London Committee (ALC) from the High Commission of Brunei Darussalam for a six-month term, from January to June 2026. The handover ceremony took place at the High Commission of Brunei Darussalam in London.

The meeting commended the significant achievements of the ALC under the leadership of His Excellency First Admiral (Rtd) Pengiran Dato Seri Pahlawan Norazmi bin Pengiran Haji Muhammad, High Commissioner of Brunei Darussalam, and extended congratulations to Her Excellency Panha Tuot, Ambassador of Cambodia, on her assumption of the ALC Chairmanship. Participants also exchanged views on upcoming activities aimed at promoting ASEAN’s interests and strengthening its visibility and profile in the United Kingdom.
