On 6 January 2024, the Royal Embassy of Cambodia in the United Kingdom and Northern Ireland celebrated the 45th Anniversary of 7 January Victory (7/01/1979-7/01/2024). More than 60 Cambodian people and Cambodian student associations in the UK attended the ceremony, and many other participants through online from London and Phnom Penh. Ambassador Lay Samkol had friendly interactions with all of them.
