On 25 October 2026, the Royal Embassy of Cambodia to the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland organised a Buddhist religious ceremony at the Royal Embassy of Cambodia in London. The ceremony comprised the chanting of sacred Buddhist scriptures (Paritta), the performance of Bangsakul rites to dedicate merit to the deceased, and a Dhamma sermon delivered by Venerable Sem Chanthy.
The ceremony was also held to dedicate the merit accumulated through these religious observances to deceased relatives and ancestors spanning seven generations, particularly to the Cambodian military heroes who sacrificed their lives in the noble cause of defending the nation and the homeland.
